ABOUT ME
DANIELLE ⎯
FOUNDER OF WILDFIRE CREATIVE
Through the lens, I tell human truths.
I’m Danielle, a multi-passionate mother, artist, and photographer. Originally from the UK, I now live in Margaret River, Western Australia, with my daughter. Before picking up a camera, I worked as a social worker in women’s refuges and mental health services. That history of resilience, compassion, and visibility continues to shape everything I create.
My approach is bold and collaborative. I see business and personal identity as forms of artistic expression. Through my practice, I work with people who want their story seen differently — who value branding not just as marketing, but as part of their story. I call this Artful Branding, a process that looks beyond the message to the human heart behind it.
With a 35mm lens, I create expansive, layered galleries that reflect the multifaceted lives of my clients and collaborators. My values are rooted in diversity, inclusion, integrity, and service, principles that guide both my commissioned work and my personal projects.
Beyond Wildfire Creative, my documentary practice explores subcultures and hidden worlds. My ongoing project Venus 8 examines the lives of dancers and erotic artists in Western Australia, merging art and visibility. Venus 8 has received recognition in the 2025 Australian Photographic Prize with two Highly Commended awards, and I was named one of the Top 30 Documentary Photographers that year 2025.
At my core, I’m a sociologist with a camera, drawn to the ways people live, create, and express themselves. Whether I’m working with a business, a community, or a subculture, my goal is to create work that is artful, human, and authentic.
