“Photography for me is deeply personal, I draw upon my own experiences in life, the cultures I’ve immersed in, my tumultuous history, the glory and the underdog story. It all plays a part in the way that I see the world. I find humans to be deeply fascinating complicated creatures. Documenting people is way beyond the act of shooting itself. It’s intimate, we connect. It’s during this process, guards are dropped, and we begin to express a person’s true nature. Their story. Activating the true you is what I do, currently my medium is the lens.”
